Transworld Business Advisors was founded in 1979 by Don and Bonnie Parrish in West Palm Beach, Florida. Andy Cagnetta later joined the company and purchased it in 1997. In 2010, Cagnetta partnered with Ray Titus, CEO of United Franchise Group (UFG), to launch Transworld as a franchise opportunity.
Today, Transworld Business Advisors operates as part of UFG’s Starpoint Brands division, making United Franchise Group the parent owner of the brand. Individual franchise locations are independently owned; for example, the Colorado franchise is owned by Prospere Companies.
